Besides your party necessities, stationery can play an important roll in your party’s decor. Especially if the theme is custom designed to you! Once the invitation is designed, than the next step is to design the stationery items that will help pull the party decor all together. Here are some items that I have made to help do just that!

I can not believe I didn’t blog about my son Jack’s 3rd birthday party this past year! I was getting ready to blog about my other 2 boy’s party when it dawned on me that I didn’t blog about Jack. I am so sorry hun! His party was amazing! We hired a company who specializes in face painting and they do other fun games and tricks with the kids. One girl came dressed up as a fairy and provide fun entertainment for the kids!
BUT – his theme was Toy Story this year of which is a classic favorite in my book. Of course I went all out again [promised the husband this was it for the big parties ;)]! The Lord provided great weather and a day to remember!
Here are some great pics of the big day!
A lot of new color pallettes and trends are coming out and one of them is elephants. Elephants have always been a beautiful animal to me, but it seems that they are coming the new theme. And for colors – grays are sprouted onto the scene and are used with other colors like yellow, orange, blues and greens. I had the opportunity from a previous client of mine to design an elephant theme baby shower invitation along with some cute tags for the favors. I just loved how both of them turned out! This style will be available in my new shop opening October 1st!
And here are the cute favor tags. Printed on matte white cardstock – design part is punched out with a scalloped edge circle punch and mounted on colored matte orange cardstock. Final product measures 2.5″ in diameter. They come complete with ribbon.
One of my close friends asked me to design her mother’s 60th birthday party invitations. She really didn’t have a design in mind, just maybe something with flowers since her mother loves her gardens! I created a few design choices for her to choose from and I hit this on right on the target. And to my surprise, the colors I used were the same as her downstairs bathroom decor of which she loved! Bonus points for me 🙂
And I just noticed today, that they invite has a vintage, Victorian feel to it which is a nice added touch.
