Classic Winnie the Pooh and other Baby Shower invitations
I just love designing baby shower invitations – its such a joy to welcome a new life into the world. And to design one using the ever so famous Pooh Bear – was a lot of fun!
The invitation was printed on white matte cardstock and was finished with a vellum overlay tied at the top with a ribbon.

Here is a game ticket style invitation I did for a client. No particular team in mind, just focused on being a Baby Boy. Printed on white matte cardstock.

Simply Blue
I had a client contact me about a previous baby shower invitation I did for another client. She loved the overall design and look and was hoping I could do something similar for her but in different colors. BRAVO! I was able to accomplish what she wanted! Here is the original invitation she liked (the first one) and here is the invitation I did for her (pictured below). I also designed menu cards, favor stickers and candy labels for the shower (not pictured).
The mother to be contacted me some time later to do matching Thank You notes for her.
The invitation and thank you notes were printed on white matte cardstock.

Darling
Here is a darling girl baby shower invitation I did for a client. She had an idea of what she wanted. I gave her a few choices to choose from and I nailed it with the invitation you see below. She was so excited. The invitation was accompanied by an insert stating instructions for the guest. The overall piece was an A7 layout and printed on white cardstock.

Oh Boy!
A client of mine recommended her friend to contact me for the design of her shower invitations. She was having 2 showers for the her baby to be and wanted them similar, but not matching. She knew she was having a boy and the nursery colors were going to be rich greens, teal blues and shades of brown. I enjoyed creating these invitations very much.
First Invitation:
This invitation was printed on both sides, giving the illusion of an outer welcome for the invitation. The invite was an A9 layout size and printed on white cardstock.

Second Invitation:
Here I decided to use a graphic of a pregnant woman to add more to the design. This invite was laid out in an A7 layout invitation with no graphics on the back and printed on white cardstock. I love how the two are related, but completely different in design.

Baby Showers
Baby showers are such a joyous occasion. So much to celebrate: a baby born, husband and wife becoming parents, parents becoming grandparents, etc…
Here are a few I designed last year.
It’s a Girl!
The graphic damask pattern used here is actually from the bedding the client chose for her new baby girl’s nursery. I incorporated the pattern on to the back of the invitation as well.

A Star is Born…
This invitation is printed on ivory metallic paper and mounted on gold metallic border. The client hosted a hollywood theme shower for the mother to be. I thought using the metallic paper, would give it more flair!

Twins!
This invitation is printed on matte cardstock. The client truly wanted a baby carriage with two little baby girl heads popping out – accomplished!

Simple, yet Darling Affair
Simple matte cardstock printed invitation. The client told me she wanted to stay away from baby images and all blue. Using animals can truly pull together an adorable invitation.
